In July 2018, the café on the first floor (former reception room) of the Western-style building at the Cultural Path Shumokukan was reopened as "SHUMOKU CAFE", operated by SHUMOKU GALLERY.

Enjoy a relaxing moment surrounded by art while gazing at the beautiful stained glass windows from the late Taisho period.

We also offer a selection of original teas, art goods, and art books for sale.

No admission fee is required if you are only using the café.

Hours: 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Last Order: 4:30 PM)
Closed: Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a national holiday)
